B chain therapy
A therapeutic modality proposed for managing autoimmune disease, in which the B chain* of cholera toxin is linked to an antigen evoking autommune antibody production which, in some animals, evokes immune tolerance to the antigen.
*Which anchors cholera toxin to intestinal cells, evoking a strong immune response; in contrast, A toxin causes cholera. This term got 11 hits on 05.11.2016, none in primary literature, and thus should be retired.
