Comment Generally regarded as safe, banal entertainment, bouncy castles may take flight in strong gusts of wind…with their charges on board. The worst case on record was that of two girls in Arizona who were lifted nearly 40 metres in the air; surprisingly, they survived intact. Up to 30 US children/day are treated  in emergency rooms for injuries sustained in bouncy castles
