Leapfrog represents ±34 million health care consumers in all 50 states, providing important information and solutions for consumers and health care providers; it is one of a number of publicly released healthcare quality indicator surveys initiated by employer and government groups. Leapfrog primarily focuses on the urban, large city health care experience, because the size the population is sufficient to meet evidence-based referral standards.
