IMMUNOLOGY 

(1) Measles immune globulin–a sterile concentrate of gamma immune globulin derived from human donors, which is injected IM and provides passive protection for unvaccinated individuals who are exposed to measles. 

(2) Either of the antibodies to measles (rubeola)

• IgM, which rises acutely or

• IgG, which is elevated after exposure and/or in chronic infection
