A specific type of nerve compression caused by irritation of the ulnar and radial digital nerves of the thumb by harp strings

Clinical findings Numbness, paraesthesias, painful hypo- and hypersensitivity, which may lead to perineural fibrosis and formation of a painful nodule

Management Rest, change strumming and plucking patterns; surgery is not indicated
