A generic term for any of the gases–CO2 (50 psi), nitrogen (175 psi), nitrous oxide (50 psi), O2 (55 psi), and medical air (55 psi) which are piped into critical locations–OR, critical care unit, ICU, in hospitals and healthcare facilities.
