Glasgow smile

A “smile” created by slashing a victim’s face from one or both corners of the mouth to the ears–fancifully likened to a smile–using a utility knife, broken glass or other ersatz scalpel, which may be combined with stabbing or kicking, such that the victim’s screaming further opens the wound, potentially causing fatal exsanguination.

Synonyms Anna grin, Chelsea grin, Chelsea smile, Glasgow grin
