EVIDENCE-BASED MEDICINE

A class (domain) of observations defined by the CDISC–Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium in the context of a clinical trial, that captures data from interventions and procedures, which are intentionally administered to a subject either as specified by protocol–e.g., intentional exposure; coincident with the study assessment period–e.g., concomitant medications, or other substances self-administered by the subject–e.g., alcohol, tobacco, or caffeine.
