Committee for Freedom of Choice in Cancer Therapy, Inc
Definition An organisation that was most active in the 1970s, which maintained an educational and advocacy group and held seminars, symposia, conferences, workshops, and distributed information on unproven (quack) methods for cancer management.
Past activities of the Committee included attempts to vindicate and legalise laetrile (aka “vitamin B17”) and decriminalise its use. Its principal, Robert Bradford, died in 2011, ironically of metastatic prostate cancer.
