American Academy of Cardiology
A fraudulent internet entity which is unrelated to the official body of American cardiologists–the American College of Cardiology, or the American Heart Association…or any other legitimate medical body.
For $300, a doctor can apply and receive an impressive–and entirely worthless–certificate, which allows him to put the equally worthless FAAC behind his or her name. Consumers should be wary of a doctor with this certificate. The American Board of Internal Medicine regards the AAC as a fraudulent certification body.
