Cnidium monnieri 


An annual herb, the seeds of which contain essential oils, including borneol, camphene, pinene, and terpineol and coumarins. It has been used as an antiseptic, astringent, and stimulant; topically for abscesses, eczema, itching and oozing skin lesions, ringworm, and scabies, as a douche for vaginal discharge and yeast infection, and internally for male impotence and female infertility. 

Synonyms Monnier’s snowparsley, Selenum monnieri, she chuang dze, she chuang zi
