Mcdonald’s syndrome

McDonald’s syndrome

Definition An ad hoc term for features that are allegedly more common at McDonald’s, the multinational fast food chain–e.g., a too varied menu, long lines and unhappy employees–which some business analysts believe also adversely affects other food-based businesses–e.g., Starbucks.

Comment Clearly this is not a medical syndrome.
