al dente syndrome
An ad hoc term defined as the obsession by TV chefs that pasta be cooked to the point of mild chewiness–Italian, al dente, to the tooth–but never beyond to soggy mush.
The parade of silly “syndromes” coined by bloggers itching to be creative shows no sign of stopping. Putting PCs within reach of lay persons was like giving matches and dynamite to monkeys. Eventually, something would get out of control. Obviously this is not a real syndrome; with 10 hits, one can hope it will whither and die on its own.
