A doctor in the UK who provides clinical assessment of detainees including preparing and implementing care plans, prescribing and administering medicine, health and behavioural monitoring and care to safe guard the health and welfare of detainees. They also provide medical services to victims and authority staff, attend scenes of sudden and suspicious death, conduct sexual offence examinations, prepare statements for legal proceedings and give evidence in court.
