SUBSTANCE ABUSE

A psychoactive designer substance derived from natural herbs sprayed with synthetic chemicals, which mimics the effects of cannabis. 

*The term synthetic cannabis is a misnomer as it is not cannabis per se, but rather mimics cannabis and thus would be better termed synthetic cannabinoid

Adverse effects Agitation, vomiting; less commonly, convulsions, myocardial infarction. The long term effects are unknown.
