frog licking
SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Definition A self-explanatory term for the licking of certain toads–in particular, Sonoran Desert toad* to obtain skin secretions which contain the psychoactive toxins, 5-MeO-DMT and bufotenin, both of which are hallucinogenic tryptamines. The secretions can be harvested by stroking the toad under its chin.
Also known as Colorado River toad, formally known as Bufo alvarius or Incilius alvarius, and popularly known as psychedelic toad.
Dogs have discovered such toads in Australia.
