anti-Tourette syndrome

A non-medical “syndrome”, defined in Spinal Tap*, by its lead singer/guitarist David St. Hubbins, who asserted that gorillas can talk, but can’t swear.

Because Tourette syndrome is classically linked to automatisms and swearing (use of expletives), a condition that has an opposite effect could be called anti-Tourette syndrome.

*A fictional parody rock band in the same named film, Spinal Tap. The parade of “syndromes” coined by non-medical individuals shows no sign of stopping. Putting PCs within reach of the lay public is like giving matches and dynamite to monkeys. Eventually, something would go tits up.

Obviously this is not a real syndrome; with 23 hits on 11/08/2013, one can hope the term will whither and die.
