A popular term for a clinical finding–inferiorward ocular deviation–which is classically seen in severe infantile hydrocephalus, but may also be associated with subdural haematomas.
Accompanying signs Cracked-pot sign, prominent scalp
veins, thinned and shiny skin, a high-pitched cry, and optic nerve atrophy, due to compression of the optic nerve and optic chiasm.
