Wolfe classification 


A simplistic schema of 4 patterns of parenchymal changes seen by mammography, which once had currency for detecting so-called  dysplastic breasts at an increased risk for cancer.

Subsequent studies revealed that the initially-reported features were merely suggestive of malignancy and thus not particularly useful. The Wolfe classification has fallen into disuse
