Morbid fear of narrow things  

Just because one can juxtapose two classic Greek roots, here steno–, narrow and phobia, fear of, doesn’t mean one should, or that the resulting word makes sense. Stenophobia offers nothing that the widely used and understood claustrophobia doesn’t. It got 216 hits on 10.01.2016, is little used, if at all in the primary literature and should be retired.
