kenophobia

PSYCHOLOGY

Definition Morbid fear of voids or empty spaces.

Whilst this term arguably fills a lexical void, with 193 hits on 30.08.2016, it differs little from agoraphobia, fear of fear of open or public places, which got 2,170,000 hits, and is widely used in the working medical parlance.
