Definition A theory espoused by John Money (1921-2006, psychologist, Johns Hopkins) that human responsiveness depends on 5 universal exigencies (needs, essentials, requirements):

• Pairbondedness

• Troopbondedness

• Ycleptance

• Abidance

• Foredoomance 

Comment This term got 138 hits on 10.12.2016, most of which refer to Money’s book, Venuses Penuses: Sexology, Sexosophy, and Exigency Theory (Prometheus, 1986). It is not used in the working parlance and best regarded as retired.
