Diana complex

A term used in psychoanalysis for a reversal of roles by women who affect mens’ mien, dress and appearance, which some regard as a suppressed desire to be a man.

The name derives from Diana, the virgin Greek goddess of the hunt, sister of Apollo, who was known for her vigour or “male” qualities.
