An antitumour antibiotic with a unique structure, which has chemotherapeutic activity in mice inoculated with various forms of leukaemia.
This agent first flew across the horizon in 1987, with most of the references clustered around the mid-1990s, where most of the 5500 hits on 01/10/2014 are chronologically clustered. There has been recent interest in spergualin analogues as inhibitors of Hsp70-CHIP protein-protein interactions.
