A popular term for viscid dark green neonatal faeces–i.e., meconium, which later become yellow-green and more liquid, finally developing into the firm caramel-to-milk-chocolate-coloured stool of milk-fed infant.
Note: The stool of human milk-fed infants is looser and less malodorous than infants fed ruminant–bovine or caprine milk
