PAEDIATRIC NEUROLOGY 

A type of early ambulation by infants which is more developmentally advanced than crawling and consists of scooting around on their bottom, using a hand behind and a foot in front to propel them. Infants bottom shuffle between 6 and 10 months of age; it is regarded as developmental red flag if it continues beyond 18 months of age.
