Fracture Risk Assessment tool
A proprietary clinical tool developed by the WHO to evaluate the risk of fracture, which is based on models that integrate clinical risk factors as well as bone mineral density at the femoral neck.
FRAX® algorithms give the 10-year probability of hip fracture and the 10-year probability of a major osteoporotic–spine, forearm, hip or shoulder–fracture.
