Definition A self-report instrument designed to help people better understand their own emotional and social functioning

Comment The EQi was formulated by Dr. Reuven Bar-On, and is the most widely used measure of emotional intelligence for adult respondents. It consists of 133 items and takes ± 30 minutes to complete, providing an overall EQ score as well as scores for 5 composite scales and 15 subscales
