• Imaging–e.g., circumscribed (“punched out”) ) osteoporosis,

• Laboratory–e.g., elevated alkaline phosphate, or

• Microscopy–e.g., epidermotropism of isolated cells or cell clusters, which simulates Paget disease of a particular site–e.g., Paget disease of bone, Paget disease of breast, or Paget disease of vulva.
