coffee table book Kosmo Kramer

Definition A self-explanatory term for the result of accidental bumping or banging into a coffee table, which most commonly affects children.

Whilst most CTIs are banal and require ice and bandages, freakish scenarios—especially if the table is made from annealed rather than tempered glass—may be fatal. An estimated 20,000 ER visits in the US are linked to glass furniture and breakage thereof.
